Festival Emergency

The Geography Club room buzzed quietly. Leo tapped the device he’d been tinkering with—the homemade tracker he’d built to detect Zaz’s movements—impatiently. Emily sketched absentmindedly, and Jack flipped a soccer ball from hand to hand, restless as always.

"It's weird we haven't heard from Zogtron," Aisha said. "Maybe Zaz finally calmed down."

Suddenly, the lights flickered. A silvery-blue hologram shimmered into view. Zogtron appeared, glitching badly.

"Urgent! Zaz spotted… volcanic island… major trouble at… festival"

The image vanished.

Leo groaned. "Seriously? That's all we get?"

Jack leaned forward excitedly. "Volcanic island? It's gotta be Iceland. Or maybe Japan!"

"Or Hawaii," Emily murmured thoughtfully.

"Hawaii?" Leo raised an eyebrow.

Just then, something clattered onto the table — a slender bamboo stick.

Mr. Carter picked it up, eyes widening. "It's a puʻili. They use these in traditional hula dances. The Merrie Monarch Festival on the Big Island starts today."

"A volcanic island and a hula festival?" Aisha grinned. "Definitely Hawaii."

Leo sighed dramatically. "Another adventure right when I have homework due."

Jack bounced to his feet. "Come on, Geography Club! Time to teleport!"

Mr. Carter nodded, smiling. "Everyone ready? Let’s go!"
