The main problem of the city

There was an overpopulation of rats in a town called Hameln. The whole city was swarming with them. People were afraid of them and were unhappy.

One day a strange man came to Hameln. He said he was a pied piper and offered to rid the city of rodents. But in return they had to pay him. People were so desperate because of the rats that they promised the Pied Piper that they would give him a lot of money if only there were no rats in the city.
