The Portal Splash
The day at Sparkling Scales School had been full of fun spells and flying practice. But now, the dragons had only one thing on their minds—playing! Zephyr jumped into a puddle, splashing water everywhere.
“Watch out!” Ivy laughed, trying to dodge, but her green scales got soaked.
“Can’t catch me!” Ember shouted, leaping into another puddle, sending a spray toward Nimbus, who flapped his wings furiously to stay dry.
Soon, all four dragons were soaked from head to tail. “Time to head home!” Zephyr called, running toward the glowing portal at the school gate.
They all jumped through at once, giggling, but something went wrong. Instead of landing at their cozy homes, they stumbled into a strange, shimmering land.
In front of them stood a sparkling castle, its walls glistening like giant water drops. Before they could speak, a group of watery guards surrounded them.
“You’re late!” one of the guards said, his voice like a bubbling stream. “The Princess must be taken to Grandma Splash immediately!”
The dragons blinked, confused. “Uh… sure?” Ember said, exchanging unsure looks with her friends.
Little did they know, their wet adventure was just beginning.
