Prologue— The Whispering Sands of Zerzura

Sergeant TickTock stands amidst a rousing desert, the lost city of Zerzura surrounding him. Away from the familiarities of 1940s Earth and his unit, TickTock is both puzzled and intrigued. Enclosed within the ancient ruins, he stumbles upon a cryptic monument that hides an even more cryptic device - a Time Machine. As the soldier unknowingly sets it in motion, the wheels of time begin to turn, transporting him into tales untold. Thus, begins the unraveled adventure of Sergeant TickTock, the unassuming time-traveler.
