Little Squirrel and Autumn
Listen to audiobook
The Quest Begins
Once upon a time in the forest, there lived Little Squirrel. One day, his mother told him about the arrival of autumn. "Little Squirrel, autumn has come to the forest! The leaves on the trees are turning yellow, red, and brown. Go, take a walk and see how autumn paints the leaves."
Filled with curiosity and excitement at the thought of meeting this artist, Little Squirrel grabbed his favorite scarf – a cozy, knitted gift from his grandmother – and wrapped it snugly around his neck. With a spirit of adventure warming him just as much as the scarf, he ventured out, dreaming of witnessing Mr. Autumn at work.
As he scurried through the forest, the little squirrel marveled at the crisp air and the way his breath formed little clouds in front of him. He imagined Mr. Autumn, with a vast palette of colors, brushing each leaf with care. This thought made his heart skip with joy, and he quickened his pace, eager to find the mysterious painter and maybe, just maybe, learn a stroke or two about painting the world in autumn's hues.
