The Big Green Leaf

Casy wiggled along a branch, her tiny legs feeling the rough bark beneath her. She spotted a huge green leaf ahead. Her belly grumbled.

“That looks tasty!” she said, inching closer.

The leaf swayed gently in the breeze, and Casy took her first nibble. But something caught her eye—tiny holes on the leaf’s surface. She frowned, curious.

“What made those?” she wondered.

As Casy munched, she noticed tiny lines running through the leaf. They were like little roads! She followed them with her eyes, amazed.

“What’s inside this leaf?” she thought. Her adventure was just beginning.
