Tale twist
Twiggy the Raccoon and the Rolling Pumpkin
Listen to audiobook
A Nice Morning
The sun peeked over the meadow, painting the grass with golden light. Twiggy the raccoon stretched his paws and wiggled his tail. “Good morning, world!” he chirped, bouncing along the path.
On the way, he met Rabbit, who was pushing a cart piled high with shiny orange carrots. “Morning, Rabbit!” Twiggy called.
“Good morning, Twiggy,” Rabbit huffed, nudging the cart forward. “Busy day in the garden.”
Twiggy grinned. “I’m busy too—busy chasing butterflies!” And off he darted, his nose pointing at a fluttering speck of yellow.
The butterfly zipped this way and that, and Twiggy followed, laughing as he zigzagged through the meadow.
